Greetings everyone...... I am by no means a Pro Detailer..... just someone who loves his vehicles. I'm in the market for a buffer/polisher. I am leaning towards the Cyclo due to the safe factor. I've never used a high speed nor do I plan on using one b/c I don't trust myself with one!:D I own a BLACK 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and it's time for some paint correction. I know some people prefer the Cyclo, some prefer the PC and whatnot. For a TOTAL Amatuer detailer..... what do you think is best for me? I don't care about price so don't worry about that issue. I want something I feel safe and comfortable with. The paint is in great shape, just has the typical swirls in it. I have a new hood and roof(Thanks to a Freakin' Hail Storm!!) which is only about 7 months old. Product wise.... I think I'm leaning towards Gloss-It. Confused though on which cut to buy and which pads to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone........

jeep is awesome bro! welcome-I'm in Jax.

Most people are going to suggest the Flex. It costs more but is more powerful than the PC but still safer than a rotary. I went with the PC and usually wish I had gotten the flex.
 
Hmmmm... I haven't looked into that one yet. What part of Jax are you in? I'm out in Ponte Vedra Beach. Great.... another choice to look at!:D

If you're going to lay down the cash for a Cyclo, go with a Flex XC3401. It's the best polisher we sell, hands-down.

We sell many kits, and I think the Wolfgang Flex kit would be the way to go for your application. You'll get pads, towels, some very good polishes, sealant etc. Pretty much everything you need to get your paint lookin' good.

Is it this kit below? Do you offer a kit with clay bar and bucket and other goodies or just make my own?:lol:

I might just have to make it down there. I have a Jeep SRT8 meet up at Lowes Motor Speedway at the Drag track on the 14th, so I guess the next weekend is open. Man my wife is gonna hate me!:D
 
I'm in the Kernan area but I have family in PV. Sawgrass and Sawmill.
