Hello all, I have been cruising around here reading reviews and people's opinions and thought it was time to join, then I could ask questions to help clear up all the confusion from reading so much.
Anyway I just picked up a new 2013 Porsche Boxster (its black) and want to treat it right. Unfortunately the dealer did the prep on it and I know I should have not let that happen but that shipped has sailed (I can see a few swirls and the odd faint scratch from the dealer plate they hang of the back on test drives). So I have 300 klm on it so far driving around showing family and and getting the feel for it, just loving it but enough of the drive back to detailing. I don't think I want to learn the do's and don't s of detailing on this car but at the same time I want to take care of it and have a shine that is wet and deep.
So what do you all think of this plan, taking the vehicle to professional detailer so he can get me to a point were all I have to do is maintain the beautiful shine via a Pinnacle wax kit and perhaps Ultima washless. What is your opinion on having the professional detailer using OptiPro or Cquartz when he does his magic.
And last but not least I apologize if I should have posted this somewhere else.
Thanks
