I am a new to the Auto Geek Family. I am retired and love to wash and detail my 3 black cars. I own a 1998 Spyder Eclipse, 2004 Maxima, and a 2009 Porsche Cayman. I enjoy reading about the different products. Right now I am looking for a good detail washing brush for my Porsche wheels. Any helpful info would be appreciated.
Thanks Al,

First off, welcome to the forum! :welcome:

Secondly, I agree on the Daytona brush. I have one for my BMW, whose wheels seem to get full of brake dust instantly.

It works great, bending around the large rotors to reach the back parts of the wheel barrels. I have never lost a bristle off of the brush either. Two big thumbs up!

Thanks Shawn for the info. Do you recommend these brushes over the Daytona brush? Your website is very impressive. The before and after pics are nice. Keep up the great work.
Thanks again,

Shawn showed me these brushes and they are great for tight places for sure.I also use the Daytona brush which has a larger size brissel that cover a larger area.

The Daytona Brush would replace the 16'' brush I mentioned. I only use that brush on the inside of the rim. I use the Lug nut brush on the lugs and the whole rims because it nice and soft and really strong. It will not mess up your rims.

Also I would recommend DP Wheel Glaze: Apply once a month to protect your wheels after applying wahs rims with normal car wash soap and water. Once a month use P21S wheel cleaner and re-apply DP Wheel Glaze.

Hi Shawn,
Thanks, I bought the Daytona brush and it works well. I am also using the wheel glaze and it is a pretty good product.

Welcome Dave,
It's a great site for car enthusiasts. Great products, service and info.
