Hello from Quebec City

Hello all,

I'm just new in the field but I am very eager to learn.
Last year I got my brand new Jaguar XJ and after one winter on the streets of Quebec the paint needed a lot of attention. I took it to the dealer for the repair but I was less than impressed with their job.

This year I just bought my dream car (See photo below) and after my experience with the Jaguar I decided that no one but me will touch the finish on this baby.

Looking forward to meeting lots of knowledgeable people.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

The car is a 2014 McLaren MP4-12C Spider, quite a mouthful I know.
The color is Volcano Red which I think is even more striking in real life than the picture can capture.

As for your car's name McLaren do tend to use names hard to remember ;) I had to force myself to remember that one ;) But one of most amazing cars ever produced so it's Worth the effort!

If you just got here, I encourage you to browse the section named Ask the expert. Mike Philips writes very complete articles about just about everything relating to detailing. Better yet, get his 2 books, they are bibles for detailers.
