Hello from Raleigh, NC and question on plastic exterior parts

I am working on a 1994 Mustang Cobra and have found a great product on ebay for cleaning tail lights and head lights without the wet sanding; however, my question involves the plastic bezel around the tail lights. The paint on these plastic bezels is oxidized from years of neglect. I would like your expert opinions on the product to use for this application.

A picture would be pretty helpful and the suggestion kind of depends on what products you have/ can get your hands on!

If you want a product that can be had at any auto parts store or walmart that works pretty well look at Meguiars Ultimate Compound. Its very cheap and works pretty well.
