I am new here and just ordered some products to detail my car(s) over the weekend. I am completely new to this and am now at the point where cars are to last me 10-15 years at least. One car will be paid off in a few months, the other is a temporary car that will be replaced once the other is paid off. I actually noticed how horrible both cars looked. I took them to get a detailing quote. Well, I figured I would give it a run myself. Buying the stuff would cost the same as having it done once. Nothing wrong with the pros, but I don't have money burning holes in my pocket.
Here is what I purchased:
1. PC 7424XP
2. Pinnacle Twins
3. Pinnacle Foamaster Gun
4. DP Xtreme Foam Formula
5. Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay Special
6. DP Poli-Coat Sealant
7. Some Microfibers
8. kit came with 3 pads
I have tire and wheel cleaner, new mitt, and brushes already. Since it is my elbow grease, my Cadillac STS will be first. I need to get that deep metallic blue to sparkle again. Right now, it looks like a flat dark blue. Very unsightly.
I look forward to learning all I can.
