Just bought a 04 Accord. Paint job is in great shape besides a few dots of rust coming through. Will have to put a little love into that soon since it still looks awesome. Although it is a white car and I know I'm going to dread to keep up with the cleaning I still say challenge accepted.
Just started out in the detailing game. So new in fact that my first and only project was a polish and wax by hand just a week ago. I really enjoy having my car look good inside and out! But, at the same time it is almost like therapy when I do. So, why not enjoy it some more by trying new stuff out by practicing on friends and family cars. Even, make some money along the way. Really, It's just a very fast building hobby for me.
As for the compounding and wax, I've used Meguiars Ultimate Polish and NXT for waxing (one of a few privileges when working in the retail business discount on car cleaning supplies). Came out good in my opinion. Don't have any pics but I'm sure I'll get the hang of that soon.
So far all the products I have are from my retail store until I find some new stuff to buy from AG. From a few of the posts I've read I already have some tricks to try and products in mind. This is going to be a expensive hobby lol.
