New guy here, new to the whole detailing world. I own a 2011 Silverado crew cab with black paint. I hate owning black vehicles but I love it when they are all clean and shiny! My truck has what I would say light swirls a few deep scratches but not through the clear and a few bush rashes.

now for the good stuff. I ordered the PC XP polisher combo from AGs online store. Comes with XMT light swirl remover, XMT Carnauba finishing glaze, orange white and grey LC pads. I also ordered a blue LC pad CG m-seal sealant, and XMT pad care combo.

Now I have a few questions. Are theOTC products such as megs or mothers worth buying? I don't have access in town to any high quality products like the ones on AG. There is a store that sells surbuf padsfrom what I've read they're pretty aggressive.

I love this forum! there are is a ton of information for newbs like me:) :buffing:

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

There are good OTC products out there but the problem is you can't get any hood how-to information from the people behind the counter.

You can get great help from a forum like this however.

Welcome to AG! Meg. and Mothers are good otc products but as Mike has said when you ask for info or a specific product, say M105, there is a blank stare a lot of times. Get your info here and and if you need to go to the local store you will know what you want. Another option is to get the products from EShine. They are in Canada.:xyxthumbs:

:welcome: From another new guy. Saskatchewan - hmm...spent a night in Moosejaw once.....BRRRR..:bolt:
