welcome to autogeek!! one of my best friends lives in Bellingham. Mt baker regular and Westport surfer.

Welcome! What products do you use today?

Superdutytd, thank you for your welcome, we live in Redmond a few blocks from library. Your Superduty Ford truck is a mighty truck, and you have a GT 5 speed Mustang, life cannot be better. My first car was a 49 Ford V-8 convertible, which I used to get back and forth from High School. Put over 143,000 miles on it. Purchased it used with 34,000 miles, sold it 10 years later, and it is still in service. All of our family lives in area, 2 daughters 2 sons, 7 grand children. Regards

Richard

Bunky, Thank you for your welcome. I use Zaino Brothers products on my current car (09 Honda Accord Coupe). On my former car (2002 BMW 330i traded in for Accord), I used Griot’s Garage products, which kept it in mint condition. I have kept all my former and current car(s) clean, including engine bay. This time around I put on a 3M clearbra, which is compatible with Zaino products. Regards

Sparkie, thank you for your welcome, you must be a professional detailer. I moved from SE USA up to Seattle area in ’07. There are times I miss that Atlantic Ocean with its Hurricane warnings and Caribbean storms. I don’t miss aftermath of those storms. Regards

Richard

vwgtivw, thank you for your welcome. I see you are in Cleveland Ohio. At one time I was employed by a company headquartered in Cleveland (now out of business). I have wanted to get back to Cleveland to visit Rock and Roll museum. Regards

Richard

dublifecrisis, Thank you for your welcome. I lived in South Florida for 15 years before moving up here to Seattle in ’07. Bellingham (Whatcom County Washington) is not far from where we live in Redmond, perhaps an hour and a half or so north, just south of Canadian border (52 miles south of Vancouver B.C.) Bellingham is up in North Puget Sound, with San Juan Islands west and Snow capped Mt. Baker and Cascade mountains east. It is a very beautiful area.

Westport is directly west of where we live and a very popular surfing area when waves are up. Back in 70s we lived in Southern California, where waves are up on a regular basis. Mt. Baker is spectacular for skiing. This winter looks promising for skiers. At one time I did ski, but at this juncture in my life skiing is difficult. Regards

Hey Rich you can multiquote messages by pressing the "Quote +" button as many times as you would like and then in your responses you can respond below them, it works better than posting multiple messages.

There are many other products that are able to be used on 3M clearbras other than Zaino btw.
If you ever want some help doing any detailing feel free to send me a PM.

Superdutytd, Geee thank you for your advice on multiquote messaging. I am interested in products which are compatible with 3M products.

Also much appreciated your offer to help with detailing issues. Mine are mainly engine bay issues, over course of months or a few years engine bays drive me nuts. Mine are always clean, and take hours to do it right. Regards

Richard

Welcome to AG!

My oldest daughter lives by SEATAC.

We visited her and my first trip to Seattle, nice place! Lot's o' cars to detail!

Nappers, Thank you for your welcome. SEATAC is about 25 minutes SW of us from where we are in Redmond. Seattle has two seasons, blue sky sunshine and rain. From May until mid October there was only one day of rain. From first week in November to our current day we have had rain each day. Usually it is a misty light steady rain. Storms come down from Gulf of Alaska then sweep in across our state, sometimes reaching down in to Oregon and California. We have no idea what winter will bring yet. Wishing you well, Regards

Richard
