Hello everybody! My name is Matt and I'm new here. Well actually been following the forum for a few months but finally made an account. I am 17 and found this place after deciding to care for my amazing first car. It's a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 sedan in White. I've always loved cars but wasn't interested in detailing until I got this car. All I can say is that I think I have a disease, I spend every chance I get working on keeping clean and scratch free. So I look forward to meeting more of you guys who feel like this also.

Yeah, it's a pretty cool experience to have one. But weirdly enough, a decent amount of people have one at my school.

Lol nope, I'm from the irvine area too, I'll just leave it at that but you had good guesses.

That it is. I work in Inglewood. I think Art mentioned it because CG is there. Chemical Guys just opened a location in the OC
 
Awesome. Didn't know they expanded out to the OC. I've been wanting to visit their store, but haven't gotten around to planning the drive. I'll have to make the visit now.

Oh, and to the OP - welcome to the forum. Congrats on the sweet ride. Not bad for a guy your age. At least you're showing appreciation for your new car by being here & learning how to properly take care of it. My first car at your age was my parents 1987 Ford Escort station wagon. Yeah, far cry from a new Benz, but independance none-the-less.

Thanks! Yeah I figure I might as well make it look its best as to not appear totally like a "snob" who just let's his parents take care of everything. :P

Edit: I should add that I now do this as an obsession not just to change what people think of me. But I will say I can thank the dealer in a way. Had I not gone to the "free washes" every Saturday for the first month, I wouldn't have been fed up enough to take matters into my own hands.
