New to this forum. I've got a new 2008 XKR, plan on entering it into the JCNA Concourse (Driven Class) in San Diego next weekend. Love detailing the car. Want to make sure I don't ruin the finish by cleaning it too often.
Looking for any suggestion on what not to and what to do.

thanks,

Well if you keep it garaged and waxed you really don't need to worry. As long as their is wax on the car when you wash it your really just washing the wax so that will take the damage.

Also many do not use pressured water as they feel that the dirt coming off the car will scrape.

Some people really concerned won't use polish on their car as it cuts the clear coat (or paint if its a 1 stage paint).

I would suggest using Klasse All in One followed by Klasse Sealant Followed by Pinnacle Souvern or Natty's blue if you are on a budget.

But Im not a professional detailer so its just my $00.02
