Hello AG forum members.... I recently bought an 06 Toyota Sienna Limited and want to take care of it properly from a detailing perspective, since I have failed in my attempts in that regards with all my other cars I have owned for the past 15 years.

That being said I want to start on the inside, namely with my leather seats and then onto the rest of the interior. I have decided on Lexol as my initial cleaner and conditioner. I am searching for a product for the vinyl, plastic and rubber parts of the interior such as the dash and side panels. I bought a spray bottle of Vinylex but I am not sure yet if that is the way to go, I have read some good and bad things about it on this forum. Is there a sure bet product that I could use and not have to worry about damaging my dash?

I say this because back in high school I put Armor All on my 1979 Toyota Celica and came back within an hour and my dash had a crack right down the center of it. Ever since I've had this fear of putting product on my dash.

Optimums Protectant Plus (OP+) looks great and has a matte finish not super shiny. BTW Armor All Original is water based and is 100% safe to use. Most if not all the members here will recommend a water based dressing. Oil based dressing "out gasses" while being baked by the heat and starts messing with the glass (windshield). Welcome to AG from a former South Floridian.

Meghan also recommended the 303 Aerospace Protectant. I am down to that one, Klasse Vinyl, Leather, Rubber & Plastic, and DP Interior Surface Protectant.

My Two Questions: 1.) Are there any differences in these products that would make me want to choose one over the other? 2.) Also should I not use these on the leather since I'm currently using Lexol leather cleaner and leather conditioner. The description of these say that you can use them on leather but it seems that would be over doing it. Your opinions?

I like the matte finish over the glossy and I want ease of use since time is at a premium these days with my 3 yr. old son and 2 month old daughter. Plus they will be trying their best to destroy my Sienna's interior over the next few years and I'm committed to keeping my ride looking tight.

The most matte of those mentioned is Optimum Protectant Plus; next 303; then DP.
