Just got a 2009 Hyundai Genesis 4 door sedan. Pearl white with beige interior. I love my car. Now I want to take good care and looking for advice. This forum is a great place to start.
 
Did you get zat from ze German's Benz? : ) A history of poor automobiles and worse management put em under. However, I do love my HEMI powered Ram and Durango!

Welcome to the forum Bill. Nice car indeed. Nice color too. I have a Starfire Pearl IS350. I'm guessing the colors are pretty close. From what part of Sunny FL are you from?

wrong ! Chrysler was owned by Daimler the company that owns Mercedes Benz. They sold off the company to a private company called Cerebus. It is now under bankruptcy proceedings and more than 1000 dealers will lose their franchise. 4 in my area alone ...

Meanwhile MB is and still imports a great deal of their cars, parts, and such from Germany which is not in any way considered an American car company. The three domestics are GM, Ford, and Chrysler and considering some of their products have more parts from outside the US than some foreign cars like Toyota and Nissan. MB has received alot of its own ridicule as of late and has fallen out of the top 10 makes from JD Powers do to its new car warranty claims meaning repair/replacement needed within first 24 months.

so lets keep a detailing forum about detailing. All cars are welcome to be cleaned and anyone looking for help should receive it without ridicule.

And yes ... I drive American because I believe they also can make some of the best cars and warranties on a mass produced scale.

I thought Benz was having a go with us too. 10 dealers here in Utah are closing. Since Fiat is buying 20% or more it might not be long before I walk in to the service department and some guy named Luigi with a huge mustache says Bonjurno! then runs off to chase mushrooms...

I really like the Genesis. I thought Hyundai was really putting out some great products in the past few years. The Genesis is a huge stepping stone. Even if it doesn't sell a buttload, future hyundai models will benefit.

Sorry for the rude welcoming. Not all of us are, to say the least, rude. I've been looking at the Genesis coupe for a little while. It's a great looking car. :)
