Hi everyone. I've been lurking the past few weeks in several forums and am convinced this is a great group of people who share the passion. I've got a 2008 Nighthawk Black Pearl Honda Civic Si coupe that's never been driven in rain or snow (honest!) and brings me pleasure behind the wheel or just looking at it, especially when it's sparkling clean.

My current project is removing light to medium swirl marks and scratches with a DA polisher. I'm going to post in the topic-specific forums to see what I can learn, and, share my results to give something back to the community.

Thanks in advance for your support. I'm glad I decided to join up!

Welcome and my condolences on your paint color. Nighthawk Black Pearl is euphemistically known as Nightmare Black Pearl. It mars extremely easily and shows ever little defect . I own an '04 NHB EP3 and mine is driven in the rain and snow.

Welcome to AG, also in SW CT, where you live such as county wise?

Thanks LH for commiserating with my pain. This is my first (and probably last) black car. A blessing when the paint is smooth and clean but a never ending job keeping it that way. You're right about it being a nightmare! :iagree:
