My name is Gary and I started detailing cars on weekends and afternoons when I was thirteen in 1964. My father ordered me a Black & Decker 7-8" commercial buffer,2800 RPM, and the only pads were wool. He told me to learn how not to burn the paint off on his 1956 Chevy panel truck. It took a few days but I got pretty good and started using it on my customers cars. The bad part was getting the swirl marks out by hand before waxing. Things have really changed since then. I have been detailing part time ever since. Now that I have retired from my main job I am building a special garage to detail full time and can't wait to get started. I want to thank Mike Philips for his wonderful videos. I have learned so many techniques that have helped me speed things up. I'm amazed what my Flex 3401 will do with the Wolfgang products that I purchased. I watch his videos instead of TV now, they are more entertaining. If I have gone on too long please tell me, this is my first forum. Thanks, Gary
