Hello All

I had the opportunity to get some really comprehensive training from 3M when I worked for their Automotive Aftermarket division for six years. The detailing product line was my absolute favorite and I guess that's where the detailing bug bit me. I've been detailing as a sideline for about eight years in all now to supplement my income but at the moment I am seriously contemplating going into it full time because there is a huge demand here in Trinidad & Tobago.

I love Autogeek and have always got great support from them and I'm amazed at how much knowledge I've seen in this forum so far. I'm happy to be part of it.

Thanks

Welcome.

Not to sound ignorant but I'm surprised there is a demand there. Ill get off before I start derailing your thread about questions about your side of the world!

Ask away. Its fine.

Welcome to AGO! I just recently spent a year in T&T. I do get the occasional Double craving still. Trini's do love their cars, and for the most part keeping them clean. I am sure you will prosper. I really miss it, and look forward to returning in a year or two.

Welcome.

They are a unique Island. Unlike most of the Islands that rely on tourism, Trinidad has a very strong industrial economy. There is probably more cars on the Island than people.

Thanks man. Yup we have about 1.3 million people and about as many cars. Because we don't have a very reliable public transport service most people buy cars. A typical middle class family will have 2-3 cars in the garage. People do like to keep their cars clean and are willing to pay to have it professionally done. There are also contracts a good detailer can get from new/used car dealership, rental companies, fleet owners, collectors .. etc

By coincidence I'm sitting here having two doubles and a red solo as I write this.:xyxthumbs:
