Hi everyone!
Name is Jarrod and Im very glad I found this wesite. Ive been an avid detailer since I was 15 years old (mainly on my own cars). Started out not knowing anything and basically just applying carnuba to my 85 Mustang GT...did not clay...did not polish...using my hand with a white applicator pad.
As Ive gotten older the cars have changed (always mustangs
rops
. Progressed to a 94 Mustang GT....started using polishes and waxes in a 2 stage formula....still by hand. Using a cotton T-Shirt to take off the wax (not the best idea...but I was young).
Went through a couple more mustangs, but finally have what I call my dream ride. A 2007 Grabber Orange Mustang GT that I have turned into a ROUSH clone/tribute.
Been using a cheap Craftsman orbital buffer with "ok" results but ready to move up.
Going to purchase a Buffer in the next day or so, as well as pads, and need some advice...so I will be posting in Detailing 101 if you care to help out.
Here are a few pics of my ride.
