Hi everyone!

Name is Jarrod and Im very glad I found this wesite. Ive been an avid detailer since I was 15 years old (mainly on my own cars). Started out not knowing anything and basically just applying carnuba to my 85 Mustang GT...did not clay...did not polish...using my hand with a white applicator pad.

As Ive gotten older the cars have changed (always mustangs :props:). Progressed to a 94 Mustang GT....started using polishes and waxes in a 2 stage formula....still by hand. Using a cotton T-Shirt to take off the wax (not the best idea...but I was young).

Went through a couple more mustangs, but finally have what I call my dream ride. A 2007 Grabber Orange Mustang GT that I have turned into a ROUSH clone/tribute.

Been using a cheap Craftsman orbital buffer with "ok" results but ready to move up.

Going to purchase a Buffer in the next day or so, as well as pads, and need some advice...so I will be posting in Detailing 101 if you care to help out.

Here are a few pics of my ride.

Thank you :xyxthumbs:

I will most likely purchase a High Speed Rotary down the road such as a DeWalt or Mikita, but will not be using it until I have mastered the skillset.

For now I am looking for the closest thing!! hehe I hear the Flex is the way to go, but I dont think I want to drop $300 right now. The Griot and PC XP are the two I have been eyeing. From what I have read the Griot wins on power.

So Griot would probably be the front runner right now.

i hear the XP has just as much power from reading on here as the groits. After the holidays i think im going to get a pc XP just have herd nothing but good things.

That is a beautiful car (for a Mustang). Just kidding.

I love orange vehicles - I have one myself...a 1971 GMC pickup truck.

Welcome to the forums. Pick you out a PCXP kit and enjoy it!
