Hello, this is my first time using any polisher.. i have decided to buy these items..
BTW, the Meguire's dual action complete kit comes with 2 white pads, 2 gray pads, 1 blue pad, 2 cobra microfibre towels, pinnacle pad cleanser and conditioner.. so in total ill have 4 whites, 4 orange, 2 gray, 1 blue, and btw do i need to buy a glaze or is the poli-seal a glaze that u use at the end? and is the optimum compound needed when i already have the optimum polish?? thanks for your help *EDIT* ive decided to add meguires #7 show car glaze.. so the process is first polish, then glaze, then seal then wax?

polish .... glaze .... seal or wax.

just remember polyseal is not a dedicated polish, it is an AIO with some polishing/and protection ability. I would go to it alone or consider several dedicated products like you have started.

polish = Optimum
glaze = #7 as wanted
wax = Optimum Spray Wax, or Nattys Blue (I see it in your cart)

Unforunately, me being as impatient as I am.. I ordered it already.. but I didnt buy the #7 glaze to cut down costs, am I screwed? is it okay to apply the natty's ontop of poli-seal

Nattys like Pinnacle waxes is plenty wet, you likely would not see much if any real difference using a glaze in this application specifically.

thanks for your help, when I first start, should I start with the polish and the white pad, and if i have any tough swirls to get out switch over to orange with compound?

yes, always go to the least abrasive pad and polish as possible. You can always go harsher and when more abrasive pads are used (orange and yellow LC) you will likely find some some light scratches called micromarring. This can be removed by using the same polish with a lighter pad like the white one prior to moving to a finishing polish and finishing pad.

sorry for all the dumb questions.. but, i know with the compound and orange pad you apply 15 pounds of force.. but how much force should u apply with the polish?.. and can it be run on the same speed? 6?
