Hi guys im the new guy just saying HI. Ive been in the auto and motorcycle biz for over 10 years. I have been detailing cars since I was a kid just for fun. I have been doing research on maybe starting my own detail business part time. I Love making a old car look new agian!

Tough business which requires a lot of patience and perseverance. I have been doing it as a kid myself, but the business side of it is a real challenge (insurance, business license, wcb etc...)

I Detail my family and friends cars now. I have another buddy that just started a small used car lot and he asked me to to some work for him. That could be 2 to 3 cars a week.

Im trying to decide if I could get enough business to Start a actual business. Ive already created detail packages and have most of the supplies just need to get insurance, license etc.

Business License and getting the correct insurance is imperative. Simply getting general liability will get you no where. Look into it carefully and explain your business plan and approach to your insurance broker.
