Hello everyone,

I found AutogeekOnline looking for info on how to make a car look it's best. There's a lot of good info here and I thought it would be good to show my support and join the community. I have yet to take the plunge into owning a polisher and all accessories to go with it, but hopefully I'll be able to make that happen soon. There are a lot of tough choices to make and a lot of info to sort through.

Anyway, here's what I'll be working on:

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

Discussion forums are great ways to get information and to share information. I wrote the below back in 2004 for for the homepage of MOL and it's still as accurate today as it ever was...

Your 1967 GTO is sweeeeet!

Which engine do you have?

1967 has to be the best year for body styles, I can't think of a single car that came out in 1967 that doesn't look cool...

With all that black paint you're definitely going to want to get into machine polishing!

The GTO has the 400 in it with an automatic 3 speed (his/hers shifter) behind it. I've only had the car a couple weeks, but so far it feels pretty strong. I have yet to find a nice quiet road I can rip up to stretch her legs.

The paint looks ok to my untrained eye. A few swirl marks, but not too bad. My daily driver is a bit worse, it's going to be my practice car until I'm comfortable enough to give it a shot on the GTO.

Just ordered up the PC 7424 starter kit, the Poorboy Polish and Protect kit and a Powerball for the chrome. This weekend I'll have to give those guides a good look through.

Welcome to Autogeek Online, I love the GTO!
