Hello M y name is Angel Ramos from Grand Rapids, MI. I have been lurking around the site for a few months and just realized that I never introduced my self to the forum. I am far from a pro at detailing but hopefully with what I can learn from you guys and experience I can improve on my detailing skills. Here is a pic of my Grand Prix or as I call it The Hooptie.

Is that a re painted front fender on the hoopdie? You'll be able to get that shining like the rest of the car.:xyxthumbs:
 
Hey Angel, welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place for detailing addiction. Don't be surprised if six months from now you've spent way too much money and have an excessive amount of detailing products. That's normal. Nice Grand Prix. My wife had an 01 that same metallic silver color that we sold last year. Served her well and I was able to do a full detail on it and get three times what any dealership offered us as for trade in value.
 
That fender is a mess it's partially rattle caned and a whole lot of ugly. The rocker panels are even uglier than the fender but that's what gives the car character It'll be the shiniest ugly car around.
 
CleanGene the addiction has already manifested into a wallet drainer that's for sure.

While there's no way of quantifying this; I suspect that most of here are not professions but more a connoisseur in the art of detailing... An obsessive bunch on the endless quest of the perfect finish....:props:

Now I just have to find some different centers for the rims. The person I bought them from had them on a GT with Cobra centers on them. You should see all the looks the local Mustang guys give the car when they see that its has the Mach rims on it some look like that sort of cool other you can see the unhappy look on their face rite away.
