Hey everyone. New guy here from the delta area. I just bought a 2016 tundra trd pro and am loving it. I have always loved cleaning my vehicles but always as a hobby and never real serious. I've recently became obsessed lol. When I first got my truck I had it opti-coated by a guy here in memphis and today was my first time washing it with the optimum no rinse wash and wax and I loved it but I have some questions....I noticed that guy didn't truly polish the paint and get swirls out as they are everywhere on the truck (factory) and I am noticing the paint isn't as smooth as I'd like.....small "bumps" on it when you use the back of your hand to feel of it....Is there a way to get this resolved and re coat it? Should I use a different product? The guy said he would do whatever paint correction was needed before opti-coating so I don't know if that means I should battle him on this? Any help from you pros would be a big help! Look forward to learning a lot here!

Just to note...

The title of this thread says,

Hello

If you have how to questions you'll get more and better replies if you started a dedicated thread with a title like,

Help removing bumps on paint

That type of title draws the attention of people that can help you with the paint issue.

A title with the words hello draws the attention of our nice forum members that are really good at welcoming new members.

It's all good... it's just that's how forums work.

:)

Hello welcome. This is the best detail forum, also i would take mike Phillips detail boot camp there you can ask all the questions you want, but if you cant your in the right place. Them bumps i would just leave them alone
