I am a retired auto mechanic and I have a need to learn to detail a motorcycle and a car I have never used an electric buffer/polisher I have scratches and lines on both of the aforementioned cars etc. I need all the help I can get like what is the best buffer/polisher, best liquid to use etc. all help would be appreciated. The bike is a black Victory and the car is a white Honda.

Welcome to AGO!! You will learn quite a bit here!! Get Mike Phillips books on how to detail. That alone will help you! I have one of his books (out of production) and I still use it as my go to for refresh.
