I'm in the States next week for a few days and thought I would use the opportunity to pick up a Rupes Mini whilst I'm there. However before I order it I need to know if the Rupes Mini will be compatible back in South Africa which is running on 220/240 volts.

I know it's a stupid question but would appreciate anyone's help or advice in this regard.

Thanks Guys.

If your getting it in the States, then the unit you'll be getting is rated 110 volts, you will need a step down transformer.

If the only RUPES Mini available for you to purchase here is 110-130v, you can, as others have done with other incompatibility issues:
You will have purchase a step-down transformer.
I'll further recommend having your local electrician take a look.
