Help.. attempting my first polish and fixing to pull my hair out

went ahead and tried all 3 steps... WG TSR, WG FG and then the mezerna powerlock. 99% of original swirls are gone, only my towel marks remain!!!

Aurghhhhh!! Is it a lot, or just a few?

are you sure there not RIDS ?

also, remove them with the TSR , then wipe in a different direction to completely confirm they are from toweling marks.

Also, wiping away a polish in straight lines is not ideal. You want to buff it off in small circles with light pressure taking small bites out of the polish at a time.

Carpro eraser helps a ton.

If you leaving toweling marks than you should look into mikes article on how to buff using a MF towel. (not being sarcastic. being serious, good towel technique is a must. straight line wiping something like a polish that is really used up and on the paint is a bad idea)

lastly, dont apply a sealant until you have this figured out. Most sealants will fill in shallow swirls or scratches.

Okay guys... got my PC7424xp and my wolfgang duo the other day and decided to try to polish my wifes 2009 BMW 328i (Black Of course!!!) Anyways, I've watched video after video and read many posts and articles about the process.. On to my problem. I've been polishing the hood, did my test spot and the swirls were gone... Put the halogens to it and could tell a huge difference from the rest of the hood I hadn't touched. But then i started seeing straight line scratches in the area i had completed. Put two and two together and figured out that I'm leaving scratches with my towels when i remove the polish!!!! I've tried three or four different microfibers (double softs etc.) and everytime i see minor marks from the towel. I know they are from my towles because i only try to go in straight lines to prevent swirling!!!! So i feel like im waisting my time polishing... HELP!!!!!!
Wash the residue off with a Rinseless or Waterless. It will lube the MF. Wipe with light pressure.
