i need some advice on buying a good wax, something that will make my tires and wheels shine..on a good buffer and how do i go about touching up some dings..also if there is somewhere i can buy some touch up paints

also is having a steamer a good idea?

The best wax for the dollar is DP's MAX WAX. You don't have to let it dry and goes on smooth as butter. It works well on wheels too. You might want to get a PC kit from AutoGeek. Saves you alot of money and gets you everything at once saving you some shipping too.
 
Poorboy's Natty's Blue is a really good wax and is less expensive than DP Max Wax. However, as Justin said Max Wax does go on as smooth as butter and is very easy to remove.

I too recommend looking at the various Autogeek kits. They offer really good value.
 
i have some dings on my integra and a camry, some scratches too.... pretty much i want to fill in or take out some of the scratches and dents...find a color to match it and touch it up.....i noticed a whole bunch after i washed it and waxed it..the wax that i used wasnt too great even after i use some ones buffer...what is the difference in different buffers? e.g cyclo or the dual action polisher....
 
So for keeping my wheels looking good, can I just put Natty's Blue on 'em?

I wouldn't just because wax has a melting point that is reached with just a few stop signs. A wheel sealant would be a better choice for the job, but I have read people give good review on Collinite and or Klasse twins with good results. I currently use PB wheel sealnt and it works great for me.....
 
It pops flakes up and makes finish looking real wet! As far as for wheels - DP Wheel Glaze will last the longest(About 4 weeks, use only soap and water to wsh them). Tires will look very nice with DP, Wolfgang, or Pinacle tire gels.

I agree with Wtystang. I wouldn't put the NB on the wheels. I have not tried the PB wheel wax, but I have used the DP Wheel Glaze. I have also put AIO on the wheels. The DP Wheel Glaze works great and I'm sure the PB product does too.

I've used it on blue and gold so far! Awesome, yes the metallic pops:D

i guess the paste is the better choice......:) very nice....
