Get the Flex. The pad will continue to rotate no matter what you do. Curved panels don't bother the Flex.

I love my Flex... It has a chair at the dining room table and it's own pillow to sleep beside me. I got the HD Model for the longer cord and that's a huge plus as well. No extension cord needed.
