Help choosing the right Flex.

So after been saving on modding my car, I still have extra to spend. I was planning on getting the Flex XC 3401 awhile back but carefully looking thru the site, the FLEX L3403 VRG isn't a bad choice either. I've search and search but couldn't find any reviews here on the L3403. There's quite a few review but I'm looking more for a in depth review thru real customer so I could make the right choices. Please help..

The reason why I consider the L3403 is because it has a universal 5/8 thread that can be use with a lot of backing plates while the 3401 could only be use with 5-6 inches velcro pads. I know the Edge Pad just came out that could be used with this machine but what other advantages does it has over the L3403? More power perhaps?

The 3403 is a true rotary and will do a lot more paint correction than the 3401, but.....
It can also do a lot more damage if not used properly.
The 3403 requires more skill and can be a bit intimidating to a beginner.
3403 = Rotary
3401 = DA with rotation
 
I dont personally see the need for the rotary version, the Dual Action clearly corrects and offers some degree of safety. If you want additional size pads just get the Edge adapter and no backing plates are needed.

If I get a Flex, boy, I do need it to provide some safety. I think my finger will be able to handle that switch, for the most part.
 
okay this is frustrating me. this is the first time ive ordered through autogeek and i dont know what to say. i placed my order last saturday before the memorial day weekend and its thursday already and they still haven't email me with my tracking number nor notifying me if they even shipped the item yet, considering its a order that's worth over $240. i called today and no one answer? what's the deal? gawh.....

Something isn't right for sure i placed a order last night and all ready have my tracking number.When you bought your flex did they e-mail you a receipt?? Should call them right away they always answer the phone they run a top notch bussiness so don't worry they always make things right

Do you have your order number ?? Check spam folder also as some email providers might delete confirmation and shipping email. Trust me , we will make it right !

The reason that you did not receive a tracking number and I'm 100% sure that you didn't receive a confirmation email is because there was a .met at the end of your email address instead of .net. I just went into your account and corrected that for you.

I just sent you an email with the tracking number. I'm not sure what you pressed when calling but you can always get someone on the phone by calling us during business hours at 1-800-869-3011 and then zero for the operator.

O whoa, that was a superfast response and service. Thanks for feeling me in on the order status and sorry about the mistake. I type really fast and don't proofread sometimes. Eventhough I didn't order the FLEX thru you guys, I will post my first real detail photos when I get my wax and etc detail supplies from you guys.

Dwayne & Scott are cool guys. I usually order all of my items from Dwayne without any problems. Now, I just need to figure out if I want the Flex or Cyclo. My friend down here in the valley is suppose to meet up with me and a very good bud of mine who is about to take over a body shop since the owner is to retire soon.

If you order from us and do not get a confirmation email right off the bat you know something is wrong and its usually the customer just has a typo on their email. The system send an automatic confirmation email and then UPS sends another when we ship. But most importantly if you have a problem or do not think your package shipped... just email me or call us, most of us check out emails throughout the night even when we are at home, so you are never alone when you shop with us.
