Hello,

My In Laws have a Tacoma with what I believe are Aluminum mag aftermarket wheels.

I was able to hit the flat surfaces yesterday with CG Metal Shine. This was able to remove the "rust" and oxidation. However the PC7424 and 3" pad is too large to get into the rounded openings of the wheel.

Are any of the drill attachable balls or cones strong enough to clean up the heavy oxidation? Each wheel has 3 large and 3 small openings.

Of course I committed THE rookie mistake and didn't get any pictures. If they are necessary, it would be 3 or 4 days before I could get them.

I am always open to tool and/or product suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

if anything, google search the wheels, find a pic of the exact wheels and upload.

someone will be able to chime in better w/ a pic of the wheels to suggest a proper method or tool to use

I believe there are some wool buffing cones as well as buff wheels you may be able to find. HF has an aluminium kit for cheap.

Here is what I have used in the past to do the wheels below:
Lake Country Wool-Ball 3 inch & 5 inch Polishing Balls Combo

Thanks everyone. The Lake Country wool ball looks like the answer. Just for grins, here are the wheels.

Mothers mini powerball and powercone work very well. You can get them at any local auto parts store.
