Spent a week designing one, ended up not liking it. So I bought a template and made some changes to it. I like it, mostly. But I don't know what to write on the a la carte part on the back. I know most people won't know what the hell nano clay is lol.

They'll be printed 8.5x5.5 on 16pt cardstock, probably matte. Any suggestions on what to write on the back or changes that could look good I'm all ears. I'm not sure why but the colors are looking washed out here to me, must be the browser rendering it differently.

To much going on need to simply packages or get rid of the ala carte.Keep the ala carte simple with 3 or 4 important upsells that's good....

Do you want to offer things like a "hand wash" as opposed to a combo of some sort. Many have claimed that there is little money to be made when going mobile and doing a wash. I was thinking your a la carte menu might offer some of the things people may not think about often but still generate a bit more income than somelthing like a wash. How about an engine detail, wheels coated, barrels and all, window coating and headlight resurfacing. To my way of thinking an a la carte menu like this could generate some income while offering your services in levels that include some type of detail. If you really want to offer a wash, offer one with a hand wax. The add on dollars will make it worth while for you.

people I meet on the street and on the counter of local stores I go in.

how much are you paying for 8 out of 10 to be thrown out. Handing out flyers is not effective. Just my .02. You're in the OC correct? Lots of detailers out there, make sure your familiar with your market and ditch the flyers. Redirect that money to other portions of your business.

I'm in the IE, close to OC but far less detailers. My expectations are about on par with my business cards, 8/10 thrown out? I'd think it's more like 19/20 lol. I've gotten a fair amount of business from my business cards. If I got 2 1 time customers and 1 who used me on a regular/semi regular basis from ordering 250 cards I'd be happy. 1 customer can give you a lot of word of mouth. I wasn't planning to get 5,000, was thinking 250 and try to get 3 new customer leads.
