Hey everyone, I'm about to get some seat covers for my rear bench seat in my truck. But before that I wanted to give it a good cleaning. The truck is about 2 years old and is not really dirty and has no stains but I know that after two years it is not brand spanking new.
What process/products would I use to clean the entire seat by hand? I don't have an extractor or machine to help me. Thanks guys.

Thanks man. Sounds like the product for me. Should I just spray it on a microfiber towel and wipe the seat or...

If you are going to spray it directly on the cloth seats, use a light, uniform coat and agitate with a soft to medium brush or a damp microfiber towel

Folex is a great product

Available at Home Depot and my grocery store

Yeah I was thinking about doing it that way also. I guess I'll be making a visit to home depot soon. Haha. Thanks for the advice.

I buy it in gallon size. $14-$15

I did a year old Kia Optima a few days ago that had been ravaged by children for an entire year... it was a two-tone black and beige interior with beige cloth seats, most all of them having some type of soda or drink spilled on them, especially the back cushion. Folex was excellent for this particular job, and I would spray the affected area and then "blot" or "twist" the microfiber cloth to pick up the stain. Folex is definitely a great product for the money, and the smell of it isn't too bad either compared to some other muti-purpose or upholstery cleaners I'd have to attack the same stain.

If you have spot staining on the seat, then Folex is ok. If it's really stained then you'd have to use something stronger than a neutral spotter like Folex.

If the whole seat is dirty, I'd use a foaming upholstery aerosol like tuff stuff and blue coral. It'll be less wet and no wicking
