Help me before I loose my mind!!!

Use the car cover you have and drape an old comforter or blanket over it.

Over the car before I cover it? Yeah that's what I was thinking about doing.

One more question, if I use the detailers paint coating, can I follow it up with a wax/sealant with anti static properties? I think part of the problem is stray cat furs making their way under the cover and sticking to the car thanks to static cling.

Another bump. Come on guys, I need answers!

Well, a little update. Took advantage of the paint coating sale and the Labor Day sale and picked up a few things.

-detailers coating kit (paint, wheel and glass)
-detailers coating prep polish
-250ml GTechniq Panel Wipe
-6.5in LC white pad for the prep polish

I'm pretty excited!

roll the cover on and off... ie. put it on the car, then pull up the front. and just roll it back so its not dragging across the paint. when i did use a cover, this was the best way to make sure you didnt drag dirt on the paint.

although with cats, they are likely jumping on and off of the car all the time, so your going to have marks where they hit the cover and it slides a little.
