Help me convince myself to buy a DA

What size are those pads? You're going to need a backing plate to attach the pads to the polisher. If you bought 5.5" pads you'll want the 5" backing plate. If you bought 6.5" pads, go with the 6" backing plate.

Looks like a good start! Do you have any quality microfiber towels? You might get a few now to remove the M105/M205.

I would be using the 6" plate that comes with the GG, so they'll be 6.5" pads.

I have nine of the Chemical Guys Monsters, would that be enough to finish a car?

I don't have any experience with the CG towels, but having 9 of them sounds like enough for an entire car. I have 6 of the black MF towels from AG that I use for wiping off polish. Because I know how many I have, I try to use one towel for every 1/6th of the car so I'm not using one towel too much, which could mean wiping old polish back into the paint. Just fold them into an ~8" x 8" square and flip it often to expose a clean surface and then move onto a new towel once you've used both sides completely. I then have 3 gold MF towels I use for wiping off wax, and 3 of the Griot's blue MF towels that I use for QD.
