Help me design my garage

agree, two sets of 4 foot lights will get it done just as well as the 8ft plus much easier to get replacments lights, home depot, lowes all carry the t8 and 6500. Good luck with the garage!

When I built my shack I spec'd out 8' fixtures. I had a bit of a head-scratcher when the first one burnt out years later... how do you haul 8' bulbs with a 6 1/2 ft bed?!? :dunno: Then there's the packaging for safe transport to think about.

I figured if one went the other 7 might not be far behind. They come 15 to a case packaged for shipment so I bought a case. Made it a bit cheaper per bulb as well. Sometimes twice as many 4 footers is a good idea. Or not. Just a thought...
