so i just got me a Dewalt DW849, what do i need to play with this baby? i would also like to see videos on how to polish with this machine, please point me to the right direction.. thanks guys.

dude OMG you hit it, thats exactly what i was looking for, i have one question...what products do u think i should but to remove swirls,wax,polish, and glaze? in that link they have lots to choose from.

Pads: I prefer Lake Country but you need to find what works best for you

this is what i got from my friend.. the polisher has 8hrs of use only.

The last picture is a pad spur and pad reconditioner. The spur / wheels are used with foam and wool pads to clean them. They work better on wool, to loosen the fibers. On both edges there is a cheese grater type metal where you can actually shave down any foam pads you have which either have ripped or have a small tear in them due to getting too close to an emblem or the like. Grab some new pads and BP, get a junk panel from a body shop and practice using the machine.

what goes first as in wash, clay,polish,wax glaze,
i dont know if i am correct but someone please correct me this will guige me in what to get to to start playing with my dw

i also would like to remove swirls where do i put that step

Wash
Clay
Polish (swirl removal)
Glaze, AIO or Paint Cleaner (you choose ... one or none)
Wax or Sealant (or both, wax after the sealant 24 hours after)

Be sure to get a scrap panel to practice the Dewalt on... it will pay huge dividends later on ... The first use of a rotary could cause damage that will need a repaint. Always keep the machine moving, keep it away from any edges of a panel, away from plastic trim and you'll be ok. Keep the speeds slow at first and finishing or polishing pads will be the most user friendly in the beginning (unless you want to use wool, just practice first )
