I am looking to add more pads to my collection for the 3401. I currently use mainly the 5" hybrids, but I am open to trying some of the recently released pads that are now available. I am specifically looking at the Lake Country Force pads, or either of the Low-Pro or Uro-Tec from Buff and Shine.

The Force pads are not available through AG yet, but can be purchased through another vendor. The B&S pads are marketed for long throw polishers, but I have seen positive remarks for the Low-Pro pads with the 3401. The Uro-Tec pads were just released, so I don't believe there is any feedback on those being used on the 3401.

I know there was a thread about this within the last few days, but no one really talked about the B&S pads.

Uro-Tec are best suited for long throw polishers(I have some). The LC Force pads look awesome for the 3401, but haven't tried them. I love the BnS low pro with my 3401!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am intrigued by the new force pads, so I ordered them in the 5.5" size (gray, orange, white, and black). I will let you know what I think of them after I have the chance to use them. This will also help my decision of which 6.5" pads to get in the near future.

The Force pads are bigger and better. What happened to 5 & 6 inch ideal hybrid sizes.

Now comes the change-a-roo with the backing plates again. Hopefully my modified stock 5.5 plate works for the 5.5 pads. Dangit

Dan, please keep us posted about the Force pads, especially the gray pad. I always wanted more cut than the hybrid orange could offer.
Best regards

As I understand it, the Force pads are designed for the upcoming FLEX XCE.

If that's the case they should work well for any 3401 owners out there too.

I haven't run the LC Thin Pro pads yet with the 3401
I have and they are a no go; too thin.
Force pads looks awesome, but not sure if I'll invest in the grey pad. I have the grey thin pro and it's VERY firm. Not a fan of concrete pads. If I need heavy cut, I'll use a wool pad on the 3401 or rotary.
