I buffed at the self serve in the bay with my AC/DC converter. I didn't even ask. I just went there at the crack of dawn and started working. This is about 10 years ago.

I still remember, the place opened. They had a little detail shop there. One of the guys walked up to me while I was working and started asking about the Menzerna polishes I was using. These were the ones in the old PAC 16 bottles. That was it, then he just walked away and left me alone.
 
I asked my association about the power outlet. They said it would have to be brought up during a home owners association meeting, and everyone would have to agree as the power used would be split into hoa cost and most likely there would be a lot of no votes.

Seems like a lot of trouble for such a simple request that should have been there in the first place!
