Hi all,
Been a while since I have been around, but I could use some help. My vette is in great shape - properly maintained and all, and has 11k on it as of today. It has actually spent a lot more time in the garage lately than you would think!
But.....there is some sticky stuff on the back window and the trunk. It is not sap because it looks like you brushed it on with a tree branch - it is sticky, but in long, thin, sloppy streams about six inches long. I have a few spots like this there from whateveter it was.... I can't get it off with any of the spray things and microfibers - and dirt just gets stuck to:buffing: it again.
So, what do I try? Bug/gum remover then polish?
Or just pull out my pc and go to it directly?
Thoughts?
All input is most appreciated!

A mild solvent will remove bees urine, apply with a dampened towel, allow to dwell and then gently remove.

Lauren, You should be doing that on your car. I think I would try some Ispropyl Alcohol on it.

3M Wax and Adhesive Remover ..... hello stranger !!

+1 for Stoners Tarminator. Good seeing you back.

+1 for clay, but if you can take pics so we can see, it will help a lot more.

If you have clay laying around try that first, it it does nothing try Stoners Tarminator.

It sounds like you jizzed on your car.

Yo Scott!!

3m wax right on it? I have it. Expound - I am confused as to why this product? Expound, please.
Why not clay vettexpert?

I think it is far too hard for for Tarminator, but that is easy to come by if the alternates fail.:buffing::buffing:

Thanks all! More input always welcome. But sorry guys, I don't pee on cars ... not even on exe's...rofl.Im the MAN

Thank you all.

Lauren, That was a early morning typo which resulted from typing before I had my first cup of coffee.:D Anyways I thought it was sticky but now it's hard. Interesting turn of events!
