Hello Everyone,

I've been doing some research and I'm looking for a good product wax/sealant for my Audi. I live in Canada, so we have LOTS of salt every year and lots of rocks on some roads.

From what I've found on the forums the products below seems to be particular favorites here. Which would work best on my Car applying by hand.

Einzett Glanz
Collinite 845
Poorboy's World EX-P Pure Sealant
Poorboy's World EX Sealant with Carnauba
Meguiars NXT

Thanks in advance, I just took a quick picture. (click for larger size)

whatever LSP you choose has little or nothing to do with your clear coat.

if you want a durable sealant try Power Lock or UPGP.

I had an Audi A8L in Toronto, ON a while back.. One coat of Meguiars M21 followed by two coats of Finish Kare 1000P. It was great!

Or you could also apply C-Quartz followed by some Meguiars M26 for some depth.

You can also slap some Poorboy's Black Hole glaze somewhere in between for that maximum gloss.

That sounds bullet proof!

Thanks guys!

I'll be off to the US in a few days for shopping and I have a shopping list now! I have to order the stuff online in Canada and shipping costs more than the product itself...

My Shopping list below

Meguiars M21
Fk1000p
Duragloss 601 Bonding Agent
Duragloss 105 TPP
Collinite 845
C-Quartz
Meguiars M26
Poorboy's Black Hole glaze

I can apply all these by hand right?

In Canada, I order my stuff from eshine (dot ca).
Price is great and shipping is free on orders over $150

In Toronto GTA there's also Wisdom Detail (look it up online)

And yes, you can apply by hand, but the result won't be any good.

You need either a rotary or a dual action (they have both at eshine).

What would you guys recommend for the Audi's Leather for the interior? and Plastics?

(Trying to get this order over 150$ here, help me out...:( )

Cleaner for everything inside and out of the car: Optimum Power Clean (several different dilution ratios according to use, dash, doors, vinyl, engine, tires...).

But eShine is out of stock at the moment, so I'd go with Poorboys APC 128oz which is just as good and can also be diluted, and the gallon with last you forever. Don't forget the spray bottles too.

For the Leather: Leatherique (cleaner and conditioner too)

Those 2 all purpose cleaner I've mentioned will also clean leather when diluted properly, but I'd rather have something exclusive for leather, like Connolly or Leatherique.

i use BLACKFIRE AND GET AMAZING FEEDBACK FROM MY ACCOUNTS , AND HIGH END SHOPS. Wolfgang 3.0 is similar both great products for looks but most protection and i use a lot of cquartz.

I have a 2011 Audi. With Silk Nappa leather 2 tone interior.

for the interior I use 1z cockpit on everything besides the seats.

On the leather seats I use Ultima Interior shampoo gel to clean the seats and Leather Master Protection Cream to protect them.

I also use the Ultima Interior Shampoo gel as an APC on every part of the interior if 1Z cockpit can not tackle the job (like sneaker scuffs on the lower door card slots). I also use it on the carpets for spot cleaning.

For the cleaning and protecting the carpets I stumble upon Wolfgang Carpet and Upholstery cleaner. Its an amazing product IMO. It cleans the carpets easily and also protects them with a scotch gaurd type chemical. all in one step.

Just FYI, On the Silk Nappa Leather seats Audi sells a product that is marketed at there dealerships. It is repackaged and bottled Leather Master soft cleaner and Leather Master Protection Cream.

If you have an questions on the interior materials and way to clean them you could always PM me.

Wolfgang Carpet & Upholstery Restorer attack stains and dirt that will taint your car’s interior!

- general purpose APC that does NOT need rinsing and is PH Neutral -

1Z Einszett Vinyl Rubber Care and Protectant Tiefenpfleger

After you protect the seats with Leather Master Protection Cream, you can use a damp rag to dust them off weekly. The Protection Cream is durable once it seals and will not streak if they get damp. So I found that using a towel dampened with water or leather master Soft cleaner is the way to go. No need to use any cleaners on them unless you actually get them soiled. I actually prefer the soft cleaner.
I dont see it listed on the website separately. But if you buy the package deal it is included. This is actually a great value and 150ml is a lot of product to do the seats multiple times. a little goes a very long way.

Leather Master Car Leather Protection & Cleaner Kit, Leather Master Leather cleaner, Leather protectant, leather conditioner

I put a sprayer tip on the bottle to spray it on the rag instead of pour it on. You save a ton of product by spraying it. It also applies evenly like that. Put it in a bottle like this or just swap the sprayer onto the soft cleaner bottle

4 oz. Sample Bottle with Sprayer

or

Clear 12 oz. Bottle with Sprayer
