I saw these stains today on my spoiler and rear bumper. I tried removing with soap and water on microfiber didn't do anything. Also tried ultimate compound and nothing. What are they?

I had my car Clayed and waxed about 3 weeks ago by someone and ii don't think it's from that.

I also took my car this last week to the shop to get my door jams repaiinted cuz they did a bad job the first time could it be from the shop?

I have seen this once before on a customers rear driver side door it's some kind of water spotting or etching of some sort but I had used meguiars water spot remover, and it did the job

It looks like trapped vapor or something. Was it recently painted? If so the plastic they covered the car with can make what appears to be etching in the clear. When it happens at my shop we use a heat gun on the areas and it usually clears up.

Yes I can feel it I just washed my car and non of it came off. And only the door jams were painted way in the front so the back wasn't painted. What should I try to remove it?

You mean like the plastic thats covering the area not being painted? Why does it do this? Do i just go over it with the heat hun and do nothing else?

Yes the bags the shop uses
To keep from overspraying the car. Buffing causes heat but we have found that a heat gun will remove it. I believe the shop is responsible.
