HELP Please!

So i just UC my 2012 black altima. Washed and clayed it first. I used DA polisher with orange pad on speed 6, did the side to side up n down pattern 6 times for each 2x2 section i taped. By the end alot of foam debris were left so i used quik detailer to remove... while i was doing this i noticed that the front and back and side skirts were darker than the rest of car!! what the heck!!!!

Got so irritated about what saw so i didnt polish or wax it... did only a lil piece with polish and wax to see if it would help but nothing....

If this makes a difference front and back bumper have been replaced due to accidents.

1) You need to post some pics
2) Did you tape each section as you went? That's probably why you were spewing foam around (from hitting the tape). You only need to tape for your test spot.

Yeah couldnt take any pictures because sun went down by the time i finished but will update soon as i can.

So the tape is only needed for test spot? not the whole car... because i devided hood into 6 and removed it as i went along..

yeah pictures will help out a lot. As far as tape goes I usually use it for trip parts, windows etc. In other words if compund spreads it wont be that bad to clean up especially around trim parts.
