No, follow the directions on the label: you spray, then blot, spray some more, blot more. Basically spray and blot until the stain is gone as best you can get it. It can take quite a lot of spraying, but it dries fast.
If it doesn't work, you can use some detergent later if you like. You are going to need something rated for fabric that will remove grease. You might give some Shout or other laundry spot remover a try as well, though they can foam alot and take a while to rinse.
