help using foam sprayer

I have a new AutoGeek foam sprayer and connected it according to the instructions. Its the smaller one and when I use it at the maximum setting the foam lasts for 20 seconds then only pure water comes out. I refilled the canister with shampoo and mixed it with hose water. is it suppose to last only 20 seconds and after the soap runs out am I suppose to disconnect the canister and mix shampoo with the water before re-attaching? what a pain

The highest setting will drink the soap/water mixture too quickly.

Put 4oz car wash soap, fill the rest water all the way to the top. Put it on one of the middle settings and you should get decent suds that will allow you to foam up the entire vehicle and the wheels/wheel wells.

when i bought it, i assumed the canister would fill automatically from the hose. oh well.. maybe the next version
