Long story short. I've been working on my Indigo Blue Tacoma, a panel at a time. Washing the truck this morning I was interrupted by an important phone call before I had a chance to dry. Came back a short time later to some major water spotting. Not so concerned about the panels I haven't got to yet, but I've I'd rather not go back to square one on the finished panels. Panels were clayed, polished with M 205, sealed with Klasse and topped with Collinite Insulator wax. Was thinking about a vinegar wipedown but wasn't sure on the effect on the finish. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

No. The the front clip and roof had been done last week. I was washing the truck to continue with the rest of the truck. The water spotting is from my screw-up this morning. I'd rather continue on with the rest of the truck than backtrack and redo the panels I did last week.

Make sure it's not parked in the sun and the surface isn't too hot. Go ahead and get that vinegar/water spray mix andspray liberally while wiping it down. Works great to remove the water spots if you get to it quick enough. After you get the spots off go ahead and QD the area.

Thanks, CEE DOG, I was hoping I'd be able to remove them without having to redo the finished panels. Just wasn't sure of the vinegar's effect on them. Out to the garage and give it a shot. Thanx.
