Help why is my white mf towel always dirty after I wash my car

It’s because of the windows, window trim, trunk jamb, windshield cowl and rocker panels. That’s why I keep my good drying towels away from those areas.

Nah it can’t be I thought that at first but the picture I took was the middle of the door panel not near any trim windows etc

You say you foamed it then washed... Were you pulling your wash mitts from a bucket of suds? Or only using the foam cannon suds on the car as your source of soap?

Yeah filled the bucket with suds, I even use multiple mitts I never retouch the car with the mitt being dirty

When was the last time you clayed your car? You say your only lsp is Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash? Could it be your paint is rough as sandpaper?

I Clayed it just before winter and the car in garage kept and I’ve only driven it a few times, I’m gonna try maybe simple green or citrol before my next wash maybe it’s brake fluid or motor oil from the road

Don’t spray that on your paint... What are the odds of brake fluid or motor oil kicking up on your car from normL driving? I dunno what to tell you.

Yeah I’m at a loss myself but I’ve seen people use that stuff on paint before , I think if I’ve gone through puddles and stuff it’s not just straight water in them so maybe that how it got on there but I guess I’m at the point where it’ll be trial and error

If anything, get some bug remover like the Blackfire and dilute it as recommended and spray the panels as you go along with your wash. It’ll do 10x the job that the pre wash foam will ever do.

Ok that’s worth a try thanks

I’ve had good results with it. I use it whenever I run into an extra dirty vehicle. Dirt doesn’t survive.

No sealant under the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless?

I'm wondering if the Uber is allowing dirt and road film to bond to the paint. I tried using Uber as an in-between-wash window cleaner (since people have praised it as a glass cleaner), but noticed the glass felt like it was getting dirtier between cleanings than when I was using different products or nothing at all. I've since retired it to sporadic washes where I just want to amp the gloss factor a little.

To Eldo's point, I've also heard positive reviews of Poorboy's Bug Squash for a pre spray.

In your situation, if I kept having build up like that showing up in my drying towel, I'd be seriously considering doing a reboot - decon, polish, and probably a different sealant or coating. Just my humble opinion.

The car has jet seal on it I was planning on trying bead maker so maybe I’ll do what u suggests and start over

I dunno, it's sounding like that paint needs a cleaning...as oneheadlight stated, maybe you should polish or at least use a paint cleaner (a pre-wax cleaner like Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer or Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion) or an AIO.

Well I guess with summer coming up I might as well do a full service thanks

To back what Eldorado2k said. I found this
from Nick at McKee’s 37 awhile ago.

I would like to add another way to remove stubborn topical road film, and that's with a paint-safe chemical cleaner. A great example is Detailer's Road Kill Bug Remover. While this product was primarily formulated as a spray-on bug and tar remover, it also works as a great "booster" to your car wash solution. A couple ounces will dramatically increase your soap's cleaning ability; you don't have to worry about it stripping a good quality wax or sealant either.

Thanks guys I think after reading your suggestions It’s most likely traffic film like you guys said. I’m gonna take the suggestions and start over with clay polish etc... thanks again

i think there's always some residual. I know when i do a maintenance wash vs a serious wash you can tell on the dry towels. Things like bugs, embedded crud in the plastics/trim and even maybe some leftover black trim sealants/cover products. Certainly your towel seems dirtier than it should. I like megs gold class wash, not a big cg fan.

I never found GC to have that great cleaning ability nor lubricity unless they changed the formula in the years it’s been since I stopped using it and switched to Griots and 3D.

Yeah I’m only using the cg stuff cause I bought a gallon on sale so I’m trying to use it before I get something new
