help with compounding haze

yeah i think i will give that a shot. i feel like all these "flexible" polishes are not as flexible as advertised at times lol. i mean optimums products have been so great so far. they got rid of all the scratches, and most of the micromarring. but with my analness i want 0 micromarring. i think i will probably buy a dedicated final polish. any suggestions?? is there a popular choice?
What color is your car??

On solid color, no metallic flake, dark paint (ie. black, red, dark blue) you'll need to use a finishing polish/polishing pad and some practice to break down the polish completely to eliminate the hazing/micromarring.

On metallic colored cars, they are more forgiving and you can usually finish polishing with a medium aggressive polish.

As far as recommendations - Pinnacle's Advanced finishing polish works great, so does XMT #1 and Menzerna's FPII.

yeah it seems like this pinnacle advanced finishing polish is pretty popular. my car is solid red. so i guess thats why i need to work it in some more. there is no metallic in it at all.

I'd try a dedicated FINAL finish polish, and white pad.......

:iagree: with Bill. Just went through this exact senario. Used OP with Edge 2K Green pad. Looked good so I applied LSP. Next few days I kept going this just doesn't look right. Did it all again with XMT#1, and Edge2K Blue pad and what a difference. It's now jeweled.
