Help with iForged "lip" cleaning pic inside

I'm trying to figure out what do to the lips are all looking a little dull trying to find out what type of polish to use. I have used some MetalWax from Collinite in the past awesome stuff just trying to be careful ,don't want to damage the wheel. I tried my mothers powerball I think she had a few birthdays under her belt so as soon as I used it was toast the foam flew everywhere.

found some Menzerna Polishing Cream Metal Polish under BOGO anyone used it might have to try it have yet to be disappointed by a menzerna product
 
Are the wheels just polished or clear coated? Can't tell from the pic. If polished go with a metal polish. If clear coated go with a paint cleaner(something similar to what you would use on your paint). Hope this helps.

its has some scratches(spider scratches) in the lip will this product remove them or hid them(Custom Blend)
 
I used my Mothers PowerMetal Aluminum over the week-end with my PowerBall and it worked very nicely on my wheels. Maybe give that Wool ball a try, that you were linked to. It looks like it would suit your deep dish wheels a lot better.

they make a harsher polish that should be used first in cases of swirls and scratches then moving to custom polish. Get a couple heads then for each polish. If deep scratches they can be reduced but hard to remove.

what about the good old meguiars nxt metal polysh
good and cheap
good on exhaust tips.

or if not , the mernz metal polish is worth considering.
and its on BOGO :)
 
i considered it but don't wanna by a product that might be sub-par , every menzerna product I have used to date is awesome but don't wanna find that to be there weak spot.
 
I have used the Menzerna polish (metal) on several chrome items and stainless steel with nice results, for polished aluminum it just wasnt what others offered.
 
Those look like clear coated wheels may be clear coated. Understand that the wheel spokes are not the only part of the wheel that is cleared. Usually the lip is machined polished THEN clear coated for protection. I recommend to treat it like you would treat paint.

On my Konig Holes I use DP Wheel Wax. I definitely noticed a difference after a few applications.

Edit: I looked up their wheel care guide and it says that unless your centers and lips are polished, that is the only time you use a metal polish.

Iforged does not clear their barrels unless you pay extra for it. Standard is high polished uncoated. I worked with Vince on every aspect of my wheels. That said, I would never buy uncoated again as its to much work !

One solution you can look into is to take the wheels and get them powdercoated. That way all you'll ever have to do is wash the wheels.
 
UPDATE: got the english custom stuff in holy smokes does that stuff works, I'll post up a picture a.s.a.p. , KillR are those wheels before and after or just the camera flash my guess is the camera flash but.. but as of right now the wheel( I only did one wheel today) they look like what is pictured. I just used some duragloss 105 on the painted as these wheels are a daily and have had great success with them on other wheels!
 
those pics were before install, and yes inside home so flash does not suit the wheels especially well. I too suggest any sealant once done polishing and then use soap/water as possible to clean for several weeks.

If wheels get super bad or barrels are full of dirt/tar/other road debris consider the P21S Polishing Soap. It will remove alot of tarnish and other items but needs to have a metal polish and buffing after its use as will mute the metal.
 
could I use some collinite on them?for a sealant?
 
waxes have a lower boiling/melting point. With wheels seeing heat significantly higher than paint a sealant is suggested.
