Help with Menz Final Finish Polish

Did anyone recommend a compound to the OP?

I guess Mike doesn't know what he is talking about,

Wouldn't be the first time... LOL

Seriously... all my post was meant to do was that if the OP aka Scott wants to do some swirl removal then when it comes to a Corvette factory clear, might as well start out with a polishing pad instead of a finishing pad.

Using the least aggressive method is a good "Best Practice" but sometimes experience can enable you to move past some of the less aggressive product and/or pads.

:iagree:Mike, but some think they know it all and that's not directed to you.

Hi Scott.....From previous experience taking my Corvette's paint to the "next" level---do yourself a big favor and at first go with a polishing pad (a little more aggressive) on your PC. You'll be surprised just how 'hard' the clearcoat paint is on the Corvettes! Then, if you're satisfied with your results, follow up with the finishing pad for your topcoat of choice. (I personally like to hand apply the topcoat when time allows).
