I think I'm having trouble finding the tree I need because of the forest its in...

With so many Quick Detailers, dilutable All Purpose Cleaners and waterless/rinseless/spray washes available I'm having trouble figuring out what I need.

I am looking for a product that will let me quickly spot wash places on my cars in between regular washings.

Everyone knows that Murphy has written it into law that within 48 hours any clean car must smash a fat Junebug or be the target of a bird violation. Might be shortened to 24 hours if wax was applied. So how do I get the small messes off and not have to break out the hose and buckets and re-wash the whole car?

Thanks,
Eric

Mike did a write-up on using QD to get bird poop off your car. But I don't know where it is. If your going to remove most things off your paint without fully washing it I would go with a rinseless wash, just because it has more lubricants in it then a QD does therefore less chance of harming you paint. But even on rinseless washing you still usually need a bucket for rinsing and a bucket with the cleaning solution in. Try a waterless wash.

Ultima Waterless Wash is the one size fits all solution! Superb

You may want a product that works both rinseless and waterless for flexibility and costs savings.

I've used DP Rinselsss at QD strength as a waterless and now have Ultima Waterless on order (which I will also use occasionally at rinseless strength).

I was in the situation you are and was sent some samples of opti clean and ONR by daves120. I'm using them on a black car and find them to work very well. I mixed the ONR to QD strength an have also used it as a clay lube. The opti clean does a great job and also leaves a slick finish. I think if you gave them a try you would also be happy with them.

You are going to be very happy with UWW+. IME it isnt a good clay lube. It is too slippery!

I use ONR and OC. OC costs 3X what UWW+ costs but is very good too.
