I just bought some sea foam motor treatment, I was wondering how I would use this on my next gas fillup or just in general

I use sea foam in the gas, oil, and vac line.

In the gas tank I would pour the whole can when you are filling up, If you really need clean up do two cans.

In the oil, right before I change it I put half a can in the crank case and other half through the vacuum line so it cleans out the injectors and junk sitting on the valves. Turn the engine off and start back up 20 mins later. There will be smoke...TONS of smoke, check out videos on you tube. So what I do is go to a empty lot near by and do it through the vac line.

Depending on how many miles on the car, you might need to change spark plugs after running through vac line the first time.

I have low mileage, so I would just take off the white plastic piece and pour the whole can in before the next fill up ?

If I just put it in the gas tank, would the car die when I restarted or would I sound and run cleaner without dying at the gas station?

Btw, im not a big mechanic, I just want to gain back power and fuel economy, I just want to pour it all into the tank and clean out my engine, would the engine die if I poured it all into the tank ?

I used seafoam in my oil and vacuum line. My results, fouled spark plugs and now my car has a hesitation at 2100 RPM.

I noticed no difference in feel on my 55k mile car. Unless you don't change your oil regulary or your car has over 100k miles I wouldn't bother.

Also follow the instructions. It says something like x amount of seafoam to x amount of gas.

Yeah I wouldn't really bother with it if you're at low miles. Just get some Lucas fuel system treatment and pour it in. I too had an issue when I put it in my truck around 20k miles. Not sure if the seafoam caused it or if it just happened but it wasn't long after I did it.

Techron is supposed to be the best at cleaning deposits in the motor also in the cylinders where a lot of others don't clean. Just read the instructions and put the required amount in the tank with the appropriate amount of gasoline and your all set...

I would not use as intended (1/3 in each - gas tank, engine, oil) it until 100k miles. You just bought a very expensive fuel treatment. It is not going to hurt anything, I just do not think you will see any difference. Maybe put 1/3 in your oil via fill cap if you are changing your oil soon.

It does wonder on older vehicles though. I have had great results on a 2002 Jeep Wrangler, 2004 Mazda Protege 5, 1987 Ford Ranger and a Kodiak four wheeler that sat for 3 years without being run.

For the gas tank its ok to put the whole can in. I have been doing that for years. It wont be easy as that to gain back power and up the fuel eco.
In my 2001 TL I use Amsoil PI in gas twice a year, changed the plugs to NGK Iridiums, and run Amosoil SSO 0w30 oil and have a cold air intake & headers. I gained about 2 to 4 mpg. On the hwy with 170k miles I still get 30mpg.

I am sure if I had the prices up for the mods and tradeoff for gas its probably net-net.

The car is a 2004 audi with a reccent oil change, and probabaly a very dirty engine as it has not been cleaned ever. It sounds loud and not right

Marvel Mystery Oil, add 4oz per 10 gallons of fuel at each fill up. You can also add it to the oil.

Put a can of sea foam in the gas tank every oil change. That is what I do to all 3 of my cars and it works great

Btw, the car in my avatar might be my fathers next, this will be mine when I finish my driving school

I'm with these guys

Im not going to put it in the oil, I just want to be sure that adding the whole can to a brand new tank of gas would be safe ?

Yes, I do it about twice a year in my truck. I add it to the tank at the gas station right before I fill up.

I never add it to the oil.

I only draw it into the intake on cars with some miles on them. I always change the plugs after doing so as well.

Good luck.
